Noémie Gauthier

Noémie Gauthier was born in Chicoutimi in 1998. After earning a college diploma (DEC) in Visual Arts from the cégep of Chicoutimi and a certificate in Creative Writing from UQAC, she completed a bachelor's degree in Graphic Design at Université Laval in 2022. She loves drawing, painting, design, and plants. Her passion for writing stems from a desire to escape reality. She finds her greatest freedom by stepping into the shoes of her characters and seeing the world through their eyes.

Her series Terminal, published by Éditions du Bouclier, is a trilogy she began writing in 2014. The first two volumes, published in 2019 and 2020, each received the Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean Book Fair Literary Award in the “Youth” category in 2020 and 2021. The final part, Terminal – Volume 3: Inexhaustible, was released in 2025.
