Julie Boulianne
Native of La Baie, in the Saguenay region (Quebec, Canada), Julie Boulianne studied architecture, science, and history.
She began her career as a high school teacher, later becoming a trainer at a community literacy center. She now works for the Saguenay public library. In 2016, she answered the call of the pen by publishing her first novel, flavored with Tunisian influences. In 2020, she received a special mention in the Damase-Potvin short story contest.
Firmly rooted in her home region, her words catch attention through the direction she gives them, introducing us to endearing characters who help us intimately discover the Other through travel, culture, and history.
Lake Ha Ha is her second novel.
